Our Passion
Our vision for Movement Kids is centered on partnership. We desire to join families on the journey of raising their children to follow Christ. Isaiah 54:13 All your children shall be taught by the Lord, and great shall be the peace of your children
On average a parent has 3,000 potential quality hours with their child in a year and the church has an average of 40 hours. No one has more potential to influence a child than a parent and we want to support that by providing Christ-Centered resources to be used beyond the Sunday service. We believe that partnering with families creates a greater impact in that child's life than if either, parent or church, were to do it alone.
During the Sunday service, our children will spend time playing games together, singing songs, reciting Bible verses, and much more. All focussed on teaching our children what it means to have a relationship with Jesus.
What to Expect
When you bring your child to Movement Kids, we will ask for your child's name, a cell phone number we can use to contact you in case of emergency during the service and an email address where we can send our Parent Cue information. Our Parent Cue email provides you with an overview of what your child learned and a way to connect with your child and reinforce that week's lesson. We will also ask who will be picking the child up, this ensures that your child leaves with the correct adult. When you pick up your child we will make sure they are being picked up by the correct adult. We hope to see you next week!
