What To Expect

What should I expect when I arrive?

We know that the “first day” can be a little intimidating and sometimes bring a bit of anxiety; so, in an attempt to relieve any confusion, we hope to welcome you with ease!

When you arrive, our parking team will direct you to any open spots.  Please let us know if this is your first time, as we have a parking spot reserved just for you!

You will be greeted at the door and welcomed into our lobby where you will find free coffee and tea, and tables if you wish to sit before service begins.

Do you have kids? Visit our MKids check-in desk where you will be asked to share a bit of information about you and your family.  You will be given a unique number for pick up or if you need to be contacted during the service. Next, you and your family will be escorted either downstairs or upstairs to our kids’ rooms.  We have classes for children ranging from nursery through elementary school. If you have older children, please let us know so we can get you connected with our middle and high school youth. After dropping off your littles, please join us in the sanctuary for our main service.

Our worship service starts at 10:00am. We hope you enjoy our very talented worship team and hear from Pastor Cliff as he walks us step by step through books of the bible.  The service typically includes three movements: opening songs, message, and a time of reflection.

We are so thankful to have you visit with us, and pray that you feel welcomed and comfortable.

What does your kids program look like?

When you bring your child to Movement Kids, we will ask for your child’s name, a cell phone number we can use to contact you in case of emergency during the service and an email address where we can send our Parent Cue information. Our Parent Cue email provides you with an overview of what your child learned as well as a way to connect with your child and reinforce that week’s lesson. We will also ask who will be picking the child up. This ensures that your child leaves with the correct adult. We hope to see you next week!

What does your youth program look like?

Movement Youth gather for Bible study, social events, and ministry opportunities.

Youth discipleship is the second and fourth Sundays in the youth room at the church from 11:15am to 1:00pm. We study God’s Word and encourage personal application. We utilize a variety of curricula, but often incorporate studies from Right Now Media.

Usually every third Friday night of the month, we meet for social gatherings, especially making these events welcoming for friends.

As a group, we also seek to identify mission outreach opportunities.

Additional events include a discipleship weekend, summer camp, and additional outings, especially during the summer.
